Giving children and youths an opportunity to play and train as leaders has helped to increase participation in sport in Lusaka. Garden community, a compound in Lusaka, now has an academy which provides football and basketball for the first time since Zambia’s independence in 1964. Through BSA’s support with donations from Standard Chartered Bank and Miles Ahead, Garden community has basketball hoops and football pitches.

BCSA would also like to thank EduSport, Sports in Action, SCORE volunteers, ASA volunteers, The German Embassy, Grassroot Soccer, GIZ Zambia, FIFA Football For Hope, streetfootballworld, Aquaman Consultants, Tackle Africa, Haugesund Football Club, Chiparamba Football Academy, Premier Soccer Academies, SKF, Gothia Cup management, Norway Cup management, Nissan Zambia limited, Heroes United Football club, Cercle Brugge and Belrose School for their support over the last 7 years.
